Future Shock 
 
After colony 216, 20 years after the events of Mariemeia's assault on earth. 
Mobile suits are a thing of the past, as are wars. Relena Dorlain's 
terraforming project has seen fruition under the watchful eyes of her 
brother, Milliardo Peacecraft and his wife Lucrezia Noin. Relena; now 35, has 
a daughter named Elena, who is 10 today. To celebrate her birthday a party 
will be held for everyone to attend. Duo and Hilde brought their son, Theo. 
Sally Po showed up expecting any day; Wufei was called away on an important 
mission by the preventors. Quatre attended to bring gifts for Elena and catch 
up on the times with other pilots. Trowa sent money but could not come, but 
mysteriously, Heero was MIA Nothing unusual. All was good, the Sanc Kingdom 
was rebuilt as a sign of peace in the world and Relena is teaching at the St. 
Gabrielle institute again. The world knows nothing of except from what they 
learn in history books, but a resistance group is preparing to end the 
peaceful time. They plan to use a new type of mobile suit made of a metal so 
new it doesn't have a name yet. The mobile suits are called inferno suits and 
they are capable of level a city with just a few of them. The party goes on, 
everyone is having a good time unaware of the threats outside. Suddenly an 
explosion tears out a wall and guests go running in confusion. Relena and the 
pilots rush to investigate the sounds downstairs. The intruders start to 
attack the partygoers and the pilots' spring into action. Taking care of the 
terrorists are all too easy for the veterans, but the leader of the 
terrorists grab Elena and hold her hostage. 
Leader: Let go of my men or the girl gets it! 
Duo: Only a coward would behind a girl! 
Relena: Please, you don't have to do this. We live in a peace filled world 
why would you do this? 
Leader: We represent a group of people who don't feel fairly treated by this 
peace, so my boss sent me to get your attention Queen Relena Peacecraft. 
Quatre: You have our attention, now who is your boss? We can talk this over. 
Leader: The time for talking is over; we'll be in touch, but right now we'll 
be taking your daughter with us. 
Duo: NO! 
As soon as they try to stop them a Hail of gunfire from a helicopter stops 
them in their tracks, another lands and picks them up and disappears into the 
night. The next day a worried Relena waits for the terrorists' call, but is 
surprised when Duo, Quatre and Trowa shows up to protect her. When asked 
about Heero, no answers could be given. 
Duo: Heero is a loner, I bet he's taking action right now to get back Elena. 
At that moment a call comes through and Relena picks it up. 
Relena: Hello… 
Voice: Hello Relena. 
To her surprise it's her brother Milliardo. 
Relena: Milliardo, have you heard? 
Milliardo: Yes, I'm on my way to earth now to help in anyway I can. 
Relena: Thank you. 
She hangs up and turns to the others. They decide Trowa and Duo will try to 
find out all they can and Quatre called the Maguanac's to protect Relena from 
any further danger. He also calls Wufei to help locate Heero, because he 
thinks Heero's help is desperately needed. Duo and Trowa heads to the 
Preventor's headquarters to see Chief Mariemeia and her adopted mother the 
retired Lady Une. Meanwhile Wufei in space finds a small resource satellite 
that isn't on any maps. He goes investigate and is attacked. Radioing in, he 
tells every one of the satellite and the power they have before he is cut 
off. Duo angrily slams down his fist. 
Duo: A new threat? If I had known this I wouldn't have self distracted the 
Deathscythe, if I had him I could've… 
Trowa comforts him. 
Trowa: No one could've seen this coming, we only thought we were doing the 
right thing. 
Duo: Yeah well, even still what are we going to do about this? 
The two ponder what to do next, a break in the communications and the 
terrorist's silhouette shows up on every screen throughout the world. 
Shadow: I want to speak on behalf of all the people who have suffered because 
of this false peace. I have Queen Relena Peacecraft's daughter, don't worry 
she fine and being treated with like royalty. I would never stoop so low as 
to harm a little girl to get what we want. I only want to show the world that 
we mean business and we want to be recognized as the saviors of the world! I 
want this peace to be realized, as it is, a sham for the governments to have 
total control over people without resistance. This is why we have reformed a 
new White fang, one represented by the gundam that defeated the original 
White fang. Wing Zero. 
Duo: There's no way! We watched it be destroyed over twenty years ago! 
Trowa: It's an exact replica, right down to the placement of the feathers. I 
wonder if it has the zero system in it. 
Duo: I don't even want to think about that! 
Quatre: I thought I would never see a gundam again. 
The camera pans Wing Zero's body standing with its angel wings closed over it 
torso. Duo's, Trowa's, Quatre's and Relena's eyes widen as they recognize the 
Gundam to be Heero's. Then the shadowed figure steps out and reveals himself 
to everyone's surprise. 
Relena: No it can't be! It's Heero! 
Heero sits back as the screen blackens, every one stands in amazement. 
Relena: Heero would never hurt Elena, I know that wasn't Heero. 
Quatre: This changes everything, if it's really Heero and he has an active 
Wing Zero, then everything we fought for is for nothing. We don't have 
anything to fight him with. 
Milliardo: I still have the Tallgeese, I will fight Heero. 
Relena: Milliardo! You can't fight him; it's not Heero. 
Quatre: I agree with Miss Relena, besides the Tallgeese is out dated. I'm 
sure Heero or who ever he is has been making improvements. Even if he hasn't, 
there's still the Zero system if active. 
Milliardo: But we can't sit here and do nothing, he has Elena. 
Relena: Calm down Milliardo, come, let's talk. 
They go to have tea and talk things over but in the city a more hectic 
situation is in place. 
Mariemeia: Mobilize all carriers! Everyone head for the coordinates last sent 
by Wufei! 
Duo: You sure have things all taken care of here. I guess I'll be going now. 
Trowa: And I would like to go along to help. 
Mariemeia: You two aren't preventors and you're not gundam pilots either, I 
can't allow you to go. 
Duo: But we have experience that can help! 
Mariemeia: I know, that's why we need your help here, you can direct the 
troops in battle. 
Trowa: It seems we are too old to fight Duo or is it because we don't have 
our gundams, we aren't regarded as a threat? 
Duo: Either way it's going to be a long night. 
They all head inside to their stations. Meanwhile on the resource satellite, 
Wufei awakens to the sounds of a fight outside his cell door. He finds the 
cell door unlocked and he immediately heads for the hanger area, finding a 
ship. Inside he finds five huge coffins, big enough to hold the new mobile 
suits. He starts the engines and escapes. The alarm sounds and he is pursued 
by three Inferno suits led by Wing Zero. He radios ahead and warns them about 
the new suits and tells him he's coming in hot. The Preventors send backup to 
help Wufei and they engage them in battle. The preventors aren't prevailing 
to well against the new suits and are quickly defeated, but not before Wufei 
gets through to earth. He lands as everyone gathers to see the new models but 
are surprised at what they find. In the Sanc Kingdom a call arrives for 
Quatre. He picks it up and agrees to head out to Preventor headquarters, 
Milliardo decides to join him. Relena watches as they leave and prays for 
their safety and then thinks about Heero. 
Relena: Heero where are you? She needs you more now than ever. 
A tear runs from her eye as her thought trail off into the dawn. A few hours 
later Quatre and Milliardo arrive at Preventor headquarters to see the new 
suits, but to their surprises these aren't the new suits that were reported. 
They are gundams. 
Quatre: Sandrock! I thought I would never see you again. 
Duo: Yeah that's what I said. 
Milliardo: I don't understand, I thought you all destroyed your gundams. 
Quatre: We did, but it seems someone rebuilt them. 
Wufei: Yeah, I found them on the ship. I think they rebuilt them to use 
against us. 
Trowa: They have been upgraded, I wonder where they got the technical 
expertise to build them. I thought the blueprints were lost when the colonies 
were destroyed. 
Milliardo: There is one more, was Wing Zero in it? 
Wufei: No, something else. I figured you might want to open it. 
Milliardo opens the case and his eyes start to tear. The gundam he once 
thought to die sacrificing himself to destroy Libra's engine block in AF195 
lies before him. The gundam Epyon! 
Milliardo: Epyon! So you want me to pilot this gundam again Heero? Another 
battle between us, possibly the last one? 
Quatre: Now I'm sure of it, only Heero has the knowledge to build our 
gundams. We have to go to outer space and battle him. 
Milliardo: No, you will occupy the satellite and save Elena. I will become 
Zechs Marquise once again and Battle Heero. I see now it is my destiny. 
Mariemeia: Then you will need a ship to get to outer space, I'll supply you 
with one. 
Quatre: Thank you, we'll leave immediately. Please inform Miss Relena. 
They load the gundams onto a shuttle and prepare to launch, meanwhile on a 
nearly destroyed colony, a lone figure sits quietly. Watching the events 
unfold patiently, waiting for the battle to begin. The white fang prepares a 
massive assault on the earth, all mobile suits are being loaded and the 
pilots are being prepped for the mission at hand. Heero sits with Elena, 
watching her playing. 
Heero: This is all for you and future generations, Relena's peace must be 
stopped. She will only doom you and the rest of mankind and I won't allow you 
to be hurt. My darling Elena. 
The gundam pilots have reached space and have been joined by other preventor 
ships that haven't been destroyed. They are heading straight for the resource 
satellite, but their approach is quickly picked up on the satellite sensors. 
An officer calls Heero to tell him about the impending threat. 
Officer: The Preventors are coming back again. They have a small force, but 
there seems something different about them this time. 
Heero: What do you mean different? 
Officer: They seem more organized than the last time, almost like they're 
more experienced in battle. 
Heero: Experienced? No, it can't be, but what if it is them? Officer send 
someone to take care of Elena, I'll need Zero. 
Officer: Right away sir! 
Heero: Elena, I have to go now, but someone will come and play with you soon. 
Elena: OK, will you come back? 
Heero: Yeah, I'll be back soon. Be good or I'll have to put on punishment. 
Elena: OK, bye! 
Heero leaves to go to the hanger area while the Preventor ships approach. 
While on approach they debate on who will be the leader. 
Wufei: I don't care who leads, as long as I pay them back for wrecking my new 
shuttle! 
Duo: I think you should lead Quatre, you've done it in the past. 
Quatre: Thanks Duo, but I think Zechs should lead us. He has battle 
experience against Heero and he can think under pressure better than I can. 
Zechs: Thank you Quatre but I'll have my hands full with Heero, I think 
you'll be the best choice for leader. Never doubt your ability, you have the 
most compassion in the whole group, use it to your advantage. 
Trowa: It seems we have been detected, there are countless mobile suits 
waiting for us out there. 
Duo: Man! They're flying out there like roaches. 
Quatre: We'd better get ready. 
 The pilots head to their gundams to prepare for battle while the other 
preventor ships begin the fight. 
Officer: Sir they've encountered the enemy. One ship is behind the attack; 
they must be the ones to attempt the rescue while our fighters are distracted. 
Heero: I'll take care of them myself. 
Officer: Sir? 
Heero: Leave them to me, it's been a long time coming. I'll contact you if I 
have any other orders. 
Officer: Yes sir! 
Heero: So you've come to stop me huh? Mission accepted. 
Wing Zero roars from the hanger and heads straight through the battlefield, 
destroying whatever he can in the process. 
Duo: I'm getting something on the scanners! 
Quatre: You'd better get back here Duo, you can't do anymore up there! 
Duo: Roger that! On my way! 
Zechs: He's coming, just I thought he would. 
Trowa: It's been a long time since we've done this. 
Wufei: I hope I can honor you once again Nataku. 
Duo: You've never looked better buddy, I missed ya! 
Zechs: He's here! 
Quatre: Brace for impact! 
Wing Zero stops just in range of the shuttle and lifts it's buster rifle. 
Heero: There will be no rescue attempt today! 
He fires the buster rifle directly at the ship and it explodes into brilliant 
colors and light. 
Heero: Mission Com….. What! 
Suddenly five shadows appear in the middle of the light and start flying 
towards Wing Zero. 
Zechs: Heero! I'll defeat you for the pain you have caused! 
Heero: Zechs in Epyon? How is that possible? 
Zechs: You pilots head for the satellite, I'll take care of Heero! 
Heero: No! I won't let you get close! 
Wing Zero heads towards the other pilots but Epyon cut him off. 
Zechs: Go now while I have him! 
Quatre: Trowa you'll go with me to the satellite, Duo and Wufei, we need you 
guys to cut us a path and watch our backs. 
All: Gotcha! 
Duo: Get outta my way if you don't wanna get hurt! 
Wufei: You seem to enjoy this a lot more than I do. 
Duo: Yeah like you don't miss this. 
Wufei: You're right, I do. 
As Duo and Wufei blaze a road for Quatre and Trowa to infiltrate, Wing Zero 
and Epyon continue their rematch. 
Zechs: You must be getting old Heero, you would never have fought so 
defensively. 
Heero: I'm only killing time before I kill you Zechs. 
Zechs: Did you rebuild Zero from the new alloy the other suits are made of? 
Heero: Yeah, I found a metal three times as strong as gundanium alloy. It was 
too good to pass up to take the earth, but I didn't count on you and the 
other's rebuilding your gundams so quickly. 
Zechs: What? He didn't build the gundams? You didn't build 
the gundams yourself? 
Heero: No, I found the ship floating in space. I thought you pilots had 
infiltrated my base to help your Wufei, but he stole it before I could fit 
the gundams with the new alloy. Now I'm glad he made it to earth, it give me 
the pleasure of finishing what I didn't have the heart to finish twenty years 
ago, you! 
Zechs: Don't count on it! 
The battle rages on with the preventors on the losing side, but the 
Deathscythe and Altron gundams are starting to make a difference. Trowa and 
Quatre have successfully infiltrated the base finish the mission. 
Duo: These things fight like upgraded mobile dolls. 
Wufei: No, it's more like all the pilots have the Zero system. It's like they 
can see our movements before we can make them. 
Duo: One thing's for sure, it certainly won't be a dull day! 
Inside, Trowa and Quatre Climb out of their gundams. 
Quatre: Trowa you find the control room and secure it, I'll look for Elena. 
Trowa: Roger that. 
They go their separate ways; outside the preventor fleet has almost been 
either destroyed or moved away because of damage, leaving Duo and Wufei alone. 
Wufei: That was the last preventor ship. 
Duo: Good, now we can get serious. Just like that time we escaped from Libra 
when we got our new versions. 
Wufei: Yeah, it seems almost like déjà vu'. 
Wing Zero and Epyon Battle it out, with neither side winning. 
Zechs: Give it up Heero, you've lost. Don't you understand what you're doing, 
you only starting the wars again. Why now after twenty years? 
Heero: Why not? This peace is only a facade. It seems peaceful on top, but 
underneath the blood only boils until it explodes. But you're wrong; Zechs, I 
haven't lost yet. I still have another means of winning. Fire when ready, 
target is Epyon! 
Duo: I'm detecting a large energy buildup coming from the satellite! 
Wufei: We'd better get out of here! 
Suddenly a large beam fires directly at Epyon, destroying whatever Infernos 
in the way. The beam narrowly misses Epyon but it is damaged and dead in the 
water. 
Duo: Did you see that? I knew the guy was cold but that was ridiculous. 
Wufei: He sacrificed a great deal of his own men to destroy Zechs, it doesn't 
seem like Heero's style to do something like that. 
Trowa: I've secured the control room. Are you two all right? 
Duo: Yeah, we got out of the way in time. 
Trowa: Good, but Zechs is in of help, Epyon was damaged dodging the blast. 
Duo: We still have Infernos here, but we'll try to get there. 
Trowa: Quatre have you found Elena yet? 
Quatre: No have you gotten to the control room? 
Trowa: Elena is on the fifth deck, section three. 
Quatre: Thanks Trowa, I'm on my way there now. 
Trowa waits in the control room, downloading the files for examination when 
he is surprised. A White fang officer shoots him in the back. 
Officer: I know who you are, you're Trowa Barton aren't you? Yeah, you pilot

Trowa: I must be getting old, you would have never snuck up on me before. 
Officer: Really? Then I consider myself lucky, even if it's only a flesh 
wound. I only wanted you to see your friends die. When I fire the cannon this 
time, I promise I won't miss! 
Quatre: Elena! Are you here? 
Elena: Uncle Quatre! I was playing but I got tired, so I went to sleep. Where 
did you man go? 
Quatre: Do you mean Heero? 
Elena: No He left earlier, a man was watching me. 
Quatre: Another man? Oh no, Trowa could be in trouble! 
In space Epyon has been badly damaged and Wing Zero exploits this opportunity 
to finish this battle with its buster rifle. 
Heero: Are you ready to die Zechs? 
Zechs: Should I die here, another will only rise to fight you oppression. 
Just as you and the other gundam pilots did twenty-one years ago against OZ. 
I'm happy to die in battle where I belong. 
Heero: Nice speech, but I'm afraid your time is up! 
As he begins to fire a beeping sound indicates a large object flying towards 
their location. 
Heero: More Preventors? I'll just destroy them after I destroy you Zechs. No, 
that's no ship it's a… 
Officer: Is that even possible? It looks like the L1 colony, but it was 
destroyed in the war. It should be vaporized, much less moving. 
Quatre: Stop right there! Trowa are you all right? 
Trowa: It's just a flesh wound, I'll live, but there's a colony moving 
towards us. 
Quatre: A colony! 
The colony still moves toward Wing Zero's Position and Zero Fires its buster 
rifle at multiple times. 
Heero: I don't where you came from or why you're here, but I know where 
you're going! Go back to hell you ghost! 
The colony shatters and explodes, but a new model mobile suit flies out and a 
familiar voice calls over the coms. 
Heero: Your Wing Zero model is outdated. 
Zechs: No! That couldn't be Heero's voice! 
Heero: It's me Zechs and I know who that is. His name is J. Killner; he wants 
to destroy the peace and start wars so he can sell his weapons. 
J. Killner: So you know who I am? 
Heero: I was the one who rebuilt the gundams and let Wufei out to steal the 
shuttle. Then I set explosives around you base so you couldn't catch him. 
J. Killner: Aren't you clever? Well you won't live to tell anyone about it! 
Killner aims the buster rifle at Heero's Wing Zero and fire, but the beam has 
no effect. 
J. Killner: What! That's not possible, it bounced off! 
Heero: I told you, you have an outdated model. I've made some improvements to 
the Wing Zero; you only found the old blueprints. 
J. Killner: I have Elena! You can't harm me or she'll suffer! 
Quatre: Heero, I have Elena and she's safe. 
Heero: It's been a long time Quatre. Zechs, are you all right? 
Zechs: Epyon is damaged, but I'm OK. 
Heero: Then I'll finish this now. 
J. Killner: I know your secret, if you kill me it will be broadcast directly 
to earth for everyone to see. 
Heero: Mission Accepted! 
eero fires his newly designed Buster Cannon and Fires on Wing Zero, 
decimating it along with J. Killner. 
Heero: Quatre, you and Trowa clear out of there now; Wufei and Duo tow Zechs 
Back home. 
Duo: What about you Heero? Are you coming back with us? 
Quatre: I'm sure Miss Relena will be happy to see you. 
Heero: No. 
Duo: What! But… 
Heero cut off the communication and aims the buster cannon at the resource 
satellite. 
Heero: Commence destruction. 
Heero then fires the buster cannon directly into the satellite, destroying it 
from the inside out; Quatre and Trowa barely make it out in time. Then he 
flies off away from the other pilots. 
Heero: Mission complete. 
Quatre: Heero, what was the secret he was talking about? 
Heero: Take Elena back to Relena Quatre, I'll be leaving with Wing Zero-X. 
Duo: Maybe we should go after him! 
Zechs: No leave him, he feels like a target wherever her goes, that's why he 
left in the first place. 
Wufei: You seem to know more than you're letting on. 
Duo: You know his secret don't you? I wanna know what it is. 
Quatre: No Duo, we have to respect Heero's Privacy, if he wants to tell us, 
then he will. 
Duo: If you say so. 
Trowa: Let's get Elena back to her mother, I'm sure she's worried. 
On their way back to earth, a shuttle sent especially meant to meet the 
hero's meets the pilots. Noin, Sally Po and Lady Une load the gundams and 
bring the pilot and their precious passenger back to earth. In the Sanc 
Kingdom Relena Sits in a window, Her Eyes are red from lack of sleep and her 
hands are shaky when a voice shoots through the room. 
Elena: Mommy! 
Relena: Elena! You're OK! Thank you, all of you. 
Duo: No problem! 
Quatre: We're not the ones to thank really, if it weren't for Heero… 
Relena: Heero? I thought he was the one who kidnapped Elena. 
Zechs: No that was an impostor. Heero also rebuilt our gundams and helped 
Wufei when they were chasing him. 
Duo: It was some guy named J. Killner, he thought if he assumed Heero's 
identity, he would shock you into giving him his way. But Heero in typical 
fashion came through in the thick of things and did what he does best. 
Relena: Where is Heero now? I would like to thank him. 
Zechs: He disappeared just as quickly as he appeared, 
into the blackness of space. 
Relena: Oh. Well, we have to have a party in honor of your victory, tonight 
will do perfectly. You all are my guests of honor. 
Duo: Sounds great, but I can live without the explosions this time around. 
 
As the sun begins to go down the party begins, with Relena and Elena sitting 
at the main table and the guests dancing and everyone having fun. A butler 
comes to tell Relena of a phone call and she goes into her private office to 
take the call, but when she picks up, no one is on the other end. Then a 
shadow steps from behind and grabs her! Startled as the figure turns her 
around, she then realizes its Heero. 
Relena: Oh Heero, I've missed you. Have you come for the 
coronation? 
Heero: No. I wanted to make sure Elena was all right. 
Relena: She is, thanks to you. Heero I think its time you met her. 
Heero: Yeah. 
Relena pulls Heero by the arm and they head to the top of the stairs. The 
other pilots see them and are happy to see Heero decided to come back to 
earth. 
Relena: Everyone I would like to make an announcement! 
 
Relena: I would like to thank everyone who helped retrieve my daughter Elena, 
no matter how small a part they played. I'm sorry for so many casualties and 
I pray for their families, but I would also like to say my family is finally 
complete. 
 
Duo: What does she mean, "her family is complete?" 
Quatre: I get it now! After all the years wondering, 
Zechs: its finally time. 
Relena: If you are wondering what I mean, I would like to announce that Heero 
is Elena's father. 
 
Man: But why hasn't he been here taking care of his daughter? Doesn't he care 
about her well being? 
Relena: He cared enough to feel he had to leave he felt he was a target 
because he was a gundam pilot. So he left the only family he ever knew. 
Woman: But what did he do to help her in the past situation? 
Duo: Hey lady back off, if it weren't for him, you'd probably be dead of 
somethin'. You should be thanking him for saving your lives. 
Heero: It's OK Duo, don't worry about it. 
Quatre: No he's right Heero, If you hadn't built our gundams and came when 
you did, we wouldn't have survived. 
Zechs: We owe our lives to you, again. This makes the third time Heero. 
Woman: Well I never! 
Duo: What? Diet? 
The guests start to pour out of the building and only the pilots are left. 
They each say their good byes and each go their own ways again. 
Epilogue 
After colony 217, Peace has returned and the Kidnapping of Elena Peacecraft 
has nearly been forgotten. A museum has been erected in the gundam pilot's 
image to further educate future generations on the effects of war. Inside the 
museum, the actual suits the pilots had flown and replicas of the earlier 
models except one. The Wing Zero X, the location of this particular suit 
remains a mystery. 
 
Duo is playing hide and go seek on his home colony L2 with his son. Trowa is 
back at the circus as the saddest clown in the business, Catherine is now the 
Ringmaster and her daughter is the new knife thrower. Quatre is now dating 
Dorothy Catalonia (yeah like you didn't about happening sooner) Wufei and 
Sally Po had Twin boy and girl, Wufei jr. and Nataku. They are currently 
chasing them around the house where they live. Zechs has gone back to calling 
himself Milliardo Peacecraft and went back to oversee the terraforming 
project. He and Noin are currently expecting a child in a few months. Heero 
sits smiling for the first time, a real smile, as he plays with Elena. Relena 
lies on the couch expecting their second child, remembering how Heero was 
when she first met him and then smiling.
